Executive Directors

Mr. Tan Wen-hua
President and Executive Director
Mr. Tan was one of the founders of the Jinzhou Plants. Mr. Tan was the Chairman of Jinzhou Xinhua Quartz Glass (Group) Co., Ltd. and the President and the Vice President of Jinzhou 155 Factory, a state-owned factory engaged in quartz crucibles manufacturing.

He is the representative of the 11th National People\'s Congress and he have won the National Model Worker of Construction Material System, Model Worker of Liaoning Province, Model Member of CPC in Liaoning Province, Model entrepreneur of the national construction material industry, Pioneering entrepreneur of Liaoning Province, the expert enjoying the special allowance of the State Council, Professor senior engineer and visiting professor of Liaoning University of Technology.

He has presided at researching many projects and has been rewarded with the scientific and technological achievement awards of ministries, provinces and cities. He has also been rewarded with two times of special contribution award of Jinzhou scientific-technical progress.

Mr. Hsu You Yuan
Executive Director
Mr. Hsu graduated with a Master degree in Business Administration from the Chinese Culture University in 1980. Prior to joining Solargiga, he was the President of Waferworks, a manufacturer of silicon wafer for the semiconductor industry, from February 1998 to June 2003. He later became the Vice-Chairman of Waferworks in June 2003.

He was the managing director of Silicon Technology Investment (Corp.) and was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Solar Technology Investment (Cayman) Corp. In March 2006, he was appointed a director and subsequently appointed as the Chairman of the board of Jinzhou Youhua in September 2006. Mr. Hsu's previous work credentials also included a member of the board of directors and Executive Vice-President of Mosel Vitelic (Hong Kong) Limited, a subsidiary of Mosel Vitelic Inc., a company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Mr. Hsu had also made other contributions to non-commercial sectors in the past. He served as a researcher, a deputy director, and the Director of Business Department of the Executive Yuan Development Fund. He was also a lecturer of Statistics for the Business Administration and Banking departments at the Chinese Culture University.

Ms. Zhang Liming
Executive Director and Director of Administration of the Jinzhou Plants
Ms. Zhang Liming has joined the Group since March 2003, appointed as CLO. From 1980 to 1992, she was the Supply Section Chief in Jinzhou Quartz and Glass Instrument Plant.

From 1993 to 1994, she has taken charge of Administrative Director in Jinzhou Crystalline Materials Limited. From 1995 to 2003, she was appointed as General Manager in Jinzhou Huaming Crystal Craftwork Limited. From 2003 to 2006, she was elected as Chief of Office and CLO in Jinzhou Xinri Silicon Materials Limited, Jinzhou Huari Silicon Materials Limited and Jinzhou Yangguang Energy Limited.

And from the year 2007 to now, she is the CEO, CLO and Vice Secretary of Party Committee in Jinzhou Yangguang Energy Limited. And in the same year, she was a Member of Jinzhou City Taihe District Standing Committee.

Non-Executive Directors

Mr. Chiao Ping-hai
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Chiao graduated from the Chung Yuen University with a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering and Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of California, San Jose in 1973 and 1978 respectively.

He is the Chief Technical Officer, the Chairman and General Manager of Wafer Works Corp. and the President of Helitek Corp., a subsidiary of Wafer Works Corp. He held senior technical and management positions at Siltec Corp., EG&G Reticon Corp. and LITE-ON Semiconductor Corp. He has been engaged in the R&D, production, sales and management of silicon ingot and wafer enterprises for more than 25 years.

Mr. Chong Kin Ngai, Alfred
Mr. Chong earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong and obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He is the Chairman of Board of Director of Prosperity Lamps and Components Limited, Vice Chairman of the Board of Director of Foshan Electrical and Lighting Company Limited (listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange), Vice Chairman of Jinzhou Youxin. He has been engaged in the production and trading of electro-optical products for more than 30 years.

Dr. Wong Wing Kuen, Albert
Dr. Wong is a Doctor of Philosophy in Banking and Finance of Wisconsin International University, USA, a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a fellow member of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries, a fellow member of The TaxationInstitute of Hong Kong, a fellow member of Securities & Investment Institute, UK, a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Directors, a fellow member of Chartered Management Institute, UK, a fellow member of Association of International Accountants, UK, a fellow member of Society of Registered Financial Planners, Hong Kong, a member of Hong Kong Securities Institute, a member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, a member of Macau Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, UK and an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. Currently, Dr. Wong is the Managing Director of Charise Financial Consultants Limited, a private professional consulting firm in Hong Kong and also an Independent Non-executive director of APAC Resources Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, since July 2004.

Ms. Fu Shuang-ye
Ms. FU graduated from Wuhan University with a Bachelor degree in English literature in 1990 and obtained her further legal studies certificate in the Law School of China Politics and Law University in 1997. She was qualified as a PRC lawyer in 1998. She was a partner in Zhong Lun W&D Law Firm in Beijing. Ms. FU is the Managing Partner of Zhong Hao Attorneys at Law. She is also a member of the Foreign Direct Investment Expertise Committee of the Beijing Judiciary Bureau.

Dr. Lin Wen
Dr. Lin received his Bachelor degree in science, and Master degree in science and Ph.D. degrees in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering, respectively. He joined AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1975. He is the author of many articles published by internationally recognised science magazine, in particular, he together with his partner, wrote about the properties of uniform oxygen Czochralaski silicon crystals and such article was published in a publication of the American Institute of Physics. Czochralaski process is the very process employed by the Group's ingot pullers in the manufacturing of monocrystalline silicon ingots. He has authored/co-authored technical papers, book chapters and holds several patents. Dr. Lin was a recipient of the 1983 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Technical Staff Award. He is a member of Phi Tau Phi Honor Societies. Since 1996, he has been a member of the Starting Materials Team of ITRS (International Technology Roadmap of Semiconductor). As a life member of the Chinese Institute of Engineers-USA, he has served the Institute in various capacities in the last two decades. He served as its president in 1987 and National Council Chairman in 1995. Dr. LIN served as Chairman of METS (Modern Engineering and Technology Seminars) '90, Vice Chairman of SATEC (Sino-American Technology and Engineering Conference) '01 and the Chairman of SATEC'04.

Mr. Zhang Chun
Mr. Zhang graduated from Tianjin University in 1955 and conducted research in silicon in his early years of his career in various institutions including Beijing Non-Ferrous Metal Research Institution. During 1979 to 1992, he was in charge of a semiconductor material research centre of Beijing Non-Ferrous Metal Research Institution. From 1992 to 1998, he was the in charge of the State Semiconduction Metal Engineering Research Centre and acted as the general manager of Jinxin Semi-conductor Material Company Limited. Mr. Zhang was awarded as a National Pioneer by the State Council in 1995. He was awarded First Class Prizes by China Non-Ferrous Industry Corp. in 1991 and 1997 for his contributions towards research on 3-4 inches monocrystalline silicon for use in integrated circuit and the manufacturing of 125mm monocrystalline silicon wafers for integrated circuit use. He was also awarded the special subsidy from the State Council of the PRC since 1992.
